Arthur's Pub

Great pub with an extensive food menu featuring a wide selection of items, including British and Irish pub favourites. They also have a great selection of beer, including my favorite - Smithwick's. My girl friend and I went here the other evening and loved it. We lucked in since it was music night.Although it has traditional styling, which makes for a cozy place, it is spacious and airy. Love the huge wrap-around bar.Service was great. The prices are reasonable.

Enjoyed the deep fried Reuben bits. Great place to grab a drink and appetizers.

Nice-looking pub drinks are way too expensive.. I paid $16 for too small shots over ice...this place has Wednesday night open mic but if you don't have an instrument you'll have to do a cappella Or take a karaoke track

Visited with guests for Sunday brunch. Excellent! Good variety of all the normal brunch offerings, plus hot succulent roast beef & hot tender roast Ham too. Amazing! And, the brunch included all the standard salad offerings, in addition to a generous selection of tempting desserts. Overall an perfect dining experience!

Dinner was flavorful, just enough, sat close to bar so very noisy but over all experience was good no complaints

Lovely pub, great food, great music!

We went with a group of 10 for dinner and live music. The food was good, typical pub fare. The service was excellent. The band was very entertaining with good audience interaction. Everyone had a great time.

This is best pub in town. The food is great, the wait staff, bartenders and floor management always go above and beyond to make my experience as awesome as possible. Keep it up!The music is great, the place is clean and they have a wide selections of beer on tap!Ethan was our waiter, his care and attention to detail is amazing. He is kind and very aware of our needs.He came to the table the"right" amount of times and always kept our glasses filled. He is an important member of the staff. We can not wait to go back! Keep up the great customer service, that's what's keeps happy customers returning!

Good food and service! They also have karaoke for the musical and brave at heart.

Nice looking restaurant; nicely decorated. Food was okay. Had the fish and chips; nothing particularly wrong. Staff was efficient. Probably would return. Minus 1 star because the meal didn't knock it out of the park for me. Though this could be a fish and chips thing in that it's never that satisfying.

Some of the novelty items aren't really worth the price, but generally this place is really good. The ingredients are great. The salads aren't made with garbage bagged vegetables, for instance. Actually delicious little grape tomatoes in the Greek salad. The dressing is uncharacteristically sweet, but actually really tasty. I was impressed! The Buffalo Chicken Dip is droolworthy.

Have not had a single bad thing on this menu. Everything I tried was great. And they are always tweaking. My next try will be the Carolina Chicken Sandwich

Beautiful attention to detail with all the interior design work. Have a look at the subtle airbrushing of brown around the trim on the wall panels. It looks amazing and adds a nice aged patina to it. Do paragraphs the fact they have Scotch eggs on the menu is amazing... You don't see that in small towns very often.

Another nice dining experience at Arthur's. Have been many times and have never left disappointed.The food is a cut above regular pub fare.

We try to go as often as we can to the 'kids eat free' on Sundays nights as it's also celtic music night! The whole family loves going! The food is delicious and we are slowly making our way through the menu to try everything. We'll be back!

Enjoyable. The type of Pub we like. Lots on tap, beer good. The ribs were great. If we were closer we would be there a lot.

A very nice place for dinner we had there wings. They were very tasty different beers on tap we will be back.

Wonderful food, great service and atmosphere! Came here twice during a hockey tournament. The food, while a little pricy, was exceptional. Had the steak one night and it was great quality and cooked right. Had the shrimp gumbo the next night and it was of exceptional quality as well. Nice and spicy as well. There was live entertainment (Rick and Tom). They were enjoyable entertainers. They sang well and played nice Irish music. Would recommend this establishment. Our server, Bryce, was able to handle the young players and parents tables. He was very organized and pleasant. Great job!

It's a chain pub. Great live music.Breakfast is nice and quick in the morning.

Pretty good food, but at the higher price food should arrive sooner, and everything should be hot.

Wonderful brunch buffet on weekends. Good food, nice atmosphere.

They were understaffed this morning. Lucky we were not in a hurry. Food was excellent though..once it came.

We stay in Cobourg often visiting family. Arthur's has the best atmosphere in town for an evening drink and or dinner. Live music most nights. We like to go there at least once every visit.

Great atmosphere, great service. Food is meh.

The restaurant is great. I went for karaoke, The lady couldn't play certain songs. How I can sing karaoke to most songs on Utube. She might want to update her song list, and no AC/DC!!!!! I still had a blast, but there are way better karaoke djs out there!!!

The interior of the pub is fantastic! Very comfortable chairs. High quality furniture with attention to detail when creating the feel of an Irish Pub. Music nights are entertaining and they have specialty food nights as well. Great job! Happy staff too!

Great English style pub. Had dinner one night and breakfast the following day. Both were awesome! Very good service too and not a long wait.

I always love going to Arthur's. It's a positive energetic place. The food is great and wide selection, the service is always friendly, the music is top notch. It's a go-to for me for sure!

Good food (especially burgers), friendly wait staff and comfortable atmosphere. People may be turned off that this restaurant is part of the hotel, but shouldn't be. Really nice place to eat.

I have traveled for work over most of Canada and the northern US. The best BBQ sauce I have ever had. Tried most of the menu as I was staying in the hotel here, not been disappointed. Staff are great and friendly. Highly recommended.

Brilliant English Food & Drink! Love the menu, tops!!!

I don't understand the no shots rule. Big mistake for the bar and the servers. Shots Jack up the bill and that Jack's up the money for all. I say shots... just be responsible.

Arthur's Pub is a fantastic place. The decor is spot on with comfortable seating arrangements. Arthur's has plenty of TVS allowing you to watch your favorite game. They also feature live music almost every night of the week. The food at Arthur's is excellent. I have had a bad meal yet. I'm a fan of the Lamb Burger and enjoy plenty of the appetizers. Arthur's also features an extensive draft beer selection. Many of the beers are imports or craft beer. If you are in Cobourg and are looking for a good meal partnered with a good time, pick Arthur's.

Friendly service. Ordered ribs which came out pretty nicely. Wouldn't mind stopping in again next time I'm in the area

Great restaurant in Cobourg, very spacious and in the Best Western Inn & Convention Centre. We were there the week before Halloween, they had their 8 foot tall seasonal greeter welcome us with motion activation. Had their meat pie and their own home made fries. Good choice. Service is friendly and quick.

We were there for a work party. Service was fast and pleasant and the food was super. The only criticism I have is that the music was too loud. We were there to socialize.

I had the Cobourger. Super tender and probably the best burger I've had since Ramsay's in Vegas. Kudos!
